nPower PEG Review

We tested the nPower PEG device from Tremont Electric to see if this kinetic energy driven power supply could live up to its reputation.

The PEG collects kinetic energy when a weight on a spring bounces up and down and stores the electricity generated in an internal battery.  With the right adapter the electricity is transferred to a limited number of personal electronic devices.  No, it will not charge a laptop computer or an iPad.  See the video to find out how our unit performed and decide for yourself whether or not the PEG is something that should be a part of your everyday life or outdoors adventure.

ADD:  After completing “Test #3” in the video my iPhone gave me a 20% battery life warning after a few minutes of talking leading me to believe the charge delivered from the nPower PEG was closer to 30% or less.
